Dr Jessica Russell

Picture
…was born in Salem, MA and grew up in Dallas, TX. She knew she wanted to work in the veterinary field at age 8 when she spent most of her time with her dogs, cats and horses. She was a veterinary technician for a year, which motivated her to go to college to pursue her degree in veterinary medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Zoology at Colorado State University and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University in 2005. She has worked for a few animal hospitals in northern Colorado prior to joining the team at Pella Corner.

Dr. Russell immediately fell in love with Pella Corner. The clients, the staff and the wonderful town of Hygiene. When the opportunity to purchase the clinic presented itself, she jumped at the chance and in August of 2018 she became the sole owner of Pella Corner.

Dr. Russell's strengths are client education and compassionate patient care. She is a member of AVMA and CVMA, and has special interest in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, pain management, and senior care. Dr. Russell enjoys spending time with her husband, Rob, and two daughters, Meghan and Allison. She also has several wonderful pets: Calvin and Fergie, an english mastiff and a newfoundland; and her two energetic young cats, Tucker and Cleo. Her hobbies include running, golfing and reading.

Dr. Kristina Ingram

Dr. Kristina Ingram received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 from Colorado State University. She practiced in Sedona, Arizona for 6 years, before in 2014, she moved back to the Colorado Front Range.  Dr. Ingram worked in Boulder for 2 years before starting her own house call and relief practice, Four Directions. Dr. Kris is an experienced surgeon and general practitioner, who also prides herself in offering many nutraceuticals and herbal alternatives to pharmaceuticals for her patients.

In her free time she has helped organize and participate in annual free veterinary spay/neuter/vaccine clinics on the Navajo and Hopi reservations in Arizona since 2009.  She has also worked with an Arizona Non-profit, HERO, with whom she traveled to India and Nicaragua in order to provide free veterinary services to severely poor and underserved populations.

Dr. Sheridan Sloan

Picture
Dr. Sheridan Sloan was born in Houston and grew up in Seabrook, TX.  The only career she ever wanted was to become a veterinarian.  She graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993.  She worked outside Houston for 6 years before moving to the San Antonio area and opening her own practice in 1999.  In 2019 she sold it to pursue her dream of living in Colorado.
Dr. Sloan has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine, especially endocrinology. She also has years of experience working with large animals.
Dr. Sloan enjoys spending time with her husband Wayne, her son Bryce and her menagerie of pets. She has four dogs named Martin (in photo), Nadine, Keano and Ceili, three cats named Nugget, Buda Cat and BG, and three horses named Lola, Percy and Armi. To make the gang complete, she has Bailey the donkey and two goats, Dr. Hoyland and Amelia. Dr. Sloan is also an avid equestrian and hiker.

Coqui Stetson

…came to Pella Corner in February 2016. She got her start in the veterinary field in 2001, as a kennel tech, and has worn many hats throughout her career in the veterinary world.
She currently has a chihuahua named Skippito, and three cats, Dennis, Rosalie and Nellie, and one very spoiled Paint horse, Balibar. At one point she had four cats and four dogs in her house! She blames this on how she grew up in rural Boulder and her family's love of animals. They were always collecting strays and pets that needed re-homing.
She is married and has a 17 year-old daughter who is very much into horses and competes with the Interscholastic Equestrian Association group, the Rocky Mountain Wranglers based out of Berthoud and is also very active in Cowboy Mounted Shooting with the Colorado Regulators and Colorado Outlaws. These activities keep Coqui and her husband very busy most weekends and have also taken the family out of state for "quick" competition weekends to Arizona and Tennessee.
Coqui enjoys traveling and taking road trips. Coqui and her daughter have travelled through many states together, trying to horseback ride everywhere than can. So far, they can cross Colorado, Kansas, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Illinois, and Hawaii off their bucket list. She dreams someday of horseback riding through Bryce Canyon National Park and tracing the trails of Butch Cassidy.
Coqui's other interests include exploring old cemeteries, historical sites, and anything related to the "old west." Even though being a teenager in the 1980's, she's always enjoyed the classic country music she grew up with. Her favorites are Patsy Cline and Elvis Presley.
